I have been filled with angst ever since a convicted felon started working in an oval shaped office. It has been difficult for me to be creative in the studio when thousands of lives are being affected by despicable acts. To get myself going again, I started up from where I left off: a “portal” series. My fragile steps back into my creative space have been necessary for self-care. These pieces will, hopefully, move me forward, and help me find my creative voice again. We all need the arts. I cannot stop, even when it is difficult.
